Delhi and Mumbai Airport appear in ’45 Best Airports’ across world

New Delhi, July. 16(HS): According to recent study by online travel agency Globehunters, the international airports across world have been assessed on the basis of various factors like on-time arrival performance of flights, number of associated airlines, number of destinations served, number of lounges, the price of airport parking per day, etc.
The findings show that the top 5 airports for business travellers are Narita International Airport of Japan, Los Angeles International Airport of USA, Frankfurt Airport of Germany, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport of Netherlands and George Bush Intercontinental Airport of USA. Narita International Airport of Japan has recorded high on time arrival of flights at 81.1 pc with 19 lounges. Then, US airports dominate the list of 10 best airports in the world. In terms of on time arrival, Tokyo Haneda Airport is at the first place(with overall rank 9) and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport has been ranked second worst at 43rd spot.
Indira Gandhi International Airport of Delhi is at 38th position whereas Chhatrapati Shivaji international Airport is at 43rd place in the rating list of this agency. Delhi airport has obtained 4 stars out of 5 and Mumbai airport has obtained 3 out of 5 stars in this assessment of airports.
