Kolklata, 26 June (HS): Turning down the request of Chef minister Mamata Baanerjee for help at this hour of crisis, the Cpi-m today described Trinamool Congress as a ‘sinking ship where only a fool wants to jump in’.
Commenting on the Chief minister wholehearted appeal to both Congress and Cpi-m led Left parties to support Trinamool Congress in removing BJP from power, during her speech at the state Assembly this afternoon, CPI-m Chief Whip in the state Assembly and the party’s state Committee member Sujan Chakraborty said the Chief minister had now been ‘day dreaming’ of stopping the BJP juggernaut and that too after loosing so many (18) seats to them in the last month’s Lok Sabha poll.
Also describing the ruling party as nothing but a sinking ship where the party workers had been quiting en masse almost every day, Chakrabortry said she must have forgotten that since the declaration of poll results as many as four Panchayat bodies and as many legislators  had already joined BJP and many more were waiting on the sidelines.
Under this circumstances how she was expecting us or the Congress to be by her side when both of us had lost many of our party workers in the hands of TMC goons during the past several years,Chakraborty reminded her before turning down her appeal for assistance.
