CoronaVirus Outbreak: Twitter said employees to work from home
New Delhi, March 12 (HS): Social networking company Twitter has ordered employees globally to work from home due to the fast-spreading CoronaVirus.
Jennifer Christie, chief of Twitter’s Human Resource Department on her blog late Wednesday, said, “We are moving from our first step and we have informed all our employees globally that they now work from home.”
It is noteworthy that the corona virus has now spread globally and more than 1,26,000 people are infected with it. While more than 4,600 people have died so far.
In view of this, many companies have made different policies to protect their employees.
Google has restricted visits to its offices in Silicon Valley, San Francisco and New York since Monday. Apple has also encouraged employees to work from home. Facebook has closed offices in Singapore and London.
