Coronavirus gives good rest to the team: Ravi Shastri
New Delhi,28 March(HS): “It is difficult to spend time at home due to the coronavirus, but it is a good thing for the players,” Ravi Shastri, coach of Indian cricket team said in a conversation with a sports podcast.
At the same time, members of the Indian cricket team are also spending time in their homes due to this virus.
In a conversation with former England captain Naseer Hussain and Michael Atherton Shastri said, “Rest cannot be a bad thing, because the mental fatigue and injuries of the players after the tour of New Zealand cannot be ignored.”
“We have played cricket continuously for the last ten months and we have hardly spent 10-11 days at home. It has been very difficult for the players who play in all three formats,” he added.
