Coronavirus: 70 years old woman becomes victim

Bengaluru,25 March(HS): A 70 years old woman who was on home quarantine died this morning in Bowring hospital here. She was a native of Gowribidanuru in Chikkaballapur district.

It may be recollected here that three persons of the same family in Gowribidanuru had tested positive for the Kovid-19 infection and the woman who passed away today also belonged to the home quarantined family.
She had returned from Mecca pilgrimage and was on home quarantine. She was admitted to the Chikkaballapur district hospital late in the evening Yesterday following a deterioration in her health conditions.
As the health condition further worsened she was rushed to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases here where the Coronavirus infected patients are being treated as of now. But the situation didn’t improve and she was shifted to the Bowring hospital where she passed away this morning.
B Sriramulu, state Health Minister confirming the death has tweeted that only after a thorough examination it needs to be confirmed whether she succumbed to the deadly Coronavirus infection or due to other ailments she had been suffering from.
