Corona virus infection confirmed to three more in Bengaluru
Bengaluru,10 March(HS): Three more people have been infected with the deadly Corona virus infection today. Hence the total number of people infected with the fatal virus infection has now gone up to four.
One person tested positive for this infection Yesterday. Today tests on his wife,daughter and a colleague have also confirmed the infection.
All of them are being quarantined at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases and are being treated specially in isolation. They had recently returned from the United States.
Meanwhile B Sriramulu, state Health Minister who paid a surprise visit to the Kempegowda International Airport Limited(KIAL) got a first hand experience about the arrangements being made to check Corona virus infections among passengers coming from abroad.
Later he confirming four infections, appealed to the people to take all necessary precautions to keep the deadly virus away.
Dr K Sudhakar, state Medical Education Minister, inaugurated a special laboratory at the state government owned Victoria Hospital in the city to check Corona and H1N1 infections.
BS Yediyurappa, Chief Minister, chaired a high level meeting to oversee the precautionary measures taken by the state administration to prevent the spread of Corona virus infections. The chief minister appealed the general public not to panic and instead cooperate with the state government in checking spread of the diseases.
