Corona Virus: Advisory of Ministry of Health, Indians should refrain from visiting China..
Beijing, Feb 03(HS): The coronavirus that originated from China has spread to many countries of the world. So far, 361 people have died in China from Corona, while more than 17 thousand cases of the virus are reportedly confirmed. Many countries have advised their citizens not to go to China, while some countries have canceled their flights to China.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced an International Health Emergency regarding Corona. In view of this, the Government of India has issued a new travel advisory for its citizens not to go to China. Indian citizens have been asked to refrain from traveling to China.
In fact, a high-level meeting was convened by the cabinet secretary on Sunday in view of the possible dangers of the coronavirus. Officers of the Health Department, Home Department, Civil Aviation Department, Health Research and NDRF Department attended this meeting. This is the 6th meeting chaired by the Cabinet Secretary.
Meanwhile, a team of 330 passengers, including 7 Maldives citizens, has returned to India on Sunday. 300 passengers have been kept in ITBP’s camp and 30 passengers have been kept in Army camp in Manesar. They are being monitored.
Coronavirus has become an epidemic in China. On Sunday, China has banned burying, burning or cremation of those who died of the disease to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of an outbreak of this in Hunan province. So far 304 people have died in China due to coronavirus.
According to the guidelines issued by the National Health Commission, Ministry of Civil Affairs and Ministry of Public Safety in China, cremation of dead bodies should be done at cremation grounds near their place of residence.
