Corona recovery rate exceeds 50 percent in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal,24 May(HS): 201 new cases of coronavirus infections have been reported in Madhya Pradesh today and the number of infections in the state has risen to 6,373. At the same time, nine more persons have died taking the death toll to 281.
However, a total of 3,267 patients in the state has been discharged from hospital. A total of 1,32,769 people have been examined for Kovid-19 in the state so far.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that better arrangements for treatment are being ensured in the state. A large number of fever clinics have also started functioning and the recovery rate has increased to 51 per cent. He asked all the collectors to strictly follow the lockdown in the districts and give exemption as per the guidelines.
Suleman, Additional Chief Secretary Health said that 27,484 persons were tested for in 1,496 fever clinics and 24,505 people have been advised for home isolation. The samples of 6,415 persons have been taken and 2,824 people have been sent to Covid Care hospitals.
