Corona: Air Force aircraft to airlift 120 Indians from Wuhan today.

New Delhi, Feb 20 (HS): China is working on a war footing to save itself against Coronavirus, but the death toll is up.  More than 2000 people have died there so far. Corona infection rapidly spread in 31 provinces of China. Among them, the Wuhan city of Hubei is the most affected. Many Indians are still trapped there. Today, India will send an Air Force plane to bring back the Indians trapped in Wuhan. In addition, medical relief materials will also be sent to the Corona-infected people of China.

The center of Corona is the Wuhan city of China. About 120 Indians are still stranded in Wuhan. Today on Thursday, the Air Force Aircraft C-17 Globemaster will go to Wuhan to bring them back to India. It is the largest military aircraft in the Indian Air Force fleet and can carry the large cargo of relief material.

There are still, about 125 people trapped in Wuhan. Some of them still have decided not to come to India. The Indian embassy in China is in touch with them. People from many countries are still trapped in China. However, many countries are continuously airlifting their citizens from there. The US has also airlifted 300 of its citizens from Wuhan. Chinese ambassador Sun Weidong told in a press conference that no Indian in Wuhan has been infected by the corona so far.

It may be recalled that India has already airlift 647 Indians stranded in Wuhan with two special aircraft and those who reached India were quarantined for medical investigations. Apart from its citizens, India also brought 7 Maldives citizens to India by their aircraft. They were also sent to the Maldives after being kept under observation in the hospital.
