Controversy over Donald Trump’s travel expenses

New Delhi, Feb 22 (HS): The Congress has questioned the expenditure on the visit of US President Donald Trump to India. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said that  Rs 100mn is  being spent on the visit of President Trump. But this money is being spent through a committee. The country has the right to know how much the  government has alloted.

Priyanka Gandhi tweeted on Saturday, Gandhi tweeted: “Rs 100 crores have been spent on President Trump’s visit. A committee  has been established  to spend money. Who are the members of this committee we don’t know? What is this govt hiding?”
