Congress demands President Rule in Delhi to control Covid-19 spread
New Delhi, 29 April (HS): Amid growing threat of Corona virus in the national capital Delhi, the State Congress President Chaudhary Anil Kumar has written a letter to President Ram Nath Kovind, demanding the imposition of President rule here.
In a letter to the President on Thursday, Chaudhary Anil Kumar accused the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party government of failing to deal with the Corona pandemic.
He has said that even in this hour of crisis, the AAP government has no such policy that the affected people can get relief. The people have been left to die due to lack of oxygen cylinder facilities in the hospital, he said.
Anil Kumar further alleged that the state government has failed in this period of disaster, so President’s rule should be imposed in Delhi.
