Cold storage owner shot dead in broad daylight in Gopalganj

Chapra/Gopalganj,13 June,2019 (HS) Posing a challenge to good governance audacious criminals today shot dead a cold storage owner in broad day light at Khajurha village under Bhore police station in Gopalganj. Deceased was identified as  Ramashray Singh of Basdeva village under the same police station. He was supervising the construction of his petrol pump when motorcycle borne five criminals came and sprayed bullets on him. Five bullets pierced through his body and he died on the spot. Hearing of the incident whole bazar of Bhore was shut down and about 20 thousand people soonreached Bhore referral hospital. They also staged road blockade at Bhore-Mirgabj road. Agitated people also attacked police force following which driver and two constables sustained injuries. Seeing the situation going out of control, Hathwa SDO Anil Kumar Raman, ASP Ashok Kumar Chaudhray, Inspector SK Himanshu reached there wth police force. Ppolice have recovered one live cartridge and four wmpty cartridges from the spot. Family members told that Ramashray Singh had business in Dubai also and had started business of cold storage and petrol pump at Bhore recently. SP Rashi Zama told that a special investigating team has been constituted and the criminals would not be spared. Police team are conducting raids in parts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh Meanwhile police force of seven police stations are camping there..Criminals are said to be professional and the killing is said to be dispute of Rangdari Tax.
