CM Yogi distributes appointment letters to 271 BEOs
Lucknow, 13 March (HS) : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday distributed appointment letters to 271 newly selected Block Education Officers (BEOs) of Basic Education Department. The CM on the occasion said that the state Government during his regime provided jobs to four lakh youths.
While addressing the appointment letter distribution programme at the Lok Bhawan here CM Yogi thanks the newly appointed BEOs and said that now they have big responsibilities and they have to fulfil it with dedication and honesty.
The CM said that his government has zero tolerance approach towards corruption and crime. He said that now the government is maintaining fair and transparent appointment process. The dignity of UP Public Service Commission was also maintained, he said alleging that the previous governments had corrupted the recruitment process in the state.
Yogi alleged that the appointment letters in the previous governments were being given on the basis of caste, creed and religion.
The Basic Education Minister Dr Satish Chandra Dwivedi and Additional Chief Secretary, Basic Education Sanjeev Mittal also spoke on the occasion.
It may be mentioned here that the selection of newly appointed 271 BEOs were made by the UP Public Service Commission.
