CM Yogi asks officials to conduct Varasat Abhiyan proactively

Lucknow, 08 March (HS) :     Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to conduct the Varasat Abhiyan with full activeness. He said that through the campaign, the process of filing undisputed succession in the revenue records should be ensured on priority.

He has also given instructions to regularly review district-level progress of the campaign. The Chief Minister was on Sunday reviewing the work of various departments at a high-level meeting convened at his government residence in the state capital. He said that on March 8, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the second phase of ‘Mission Shakti Abhiyan’ is being inaugurated in the state.

The CM directed all the concerning departments to carry out various activities of the campaign through inter-departmental coordination. He said that people’s representatives should be invited to the programmes to be organized on the inaugural occasion of the second phase.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure all the arrangements for wheat procurement in the year 2021-22 under the MSP in a time-bound manner. He said that the DMs should regularly review wheat procurement preparations at the district level to ensure the smooth procurement of wheat.

Medical Education Minister Suresh Khanna, Chief Secretary RK Tiwari, Agriculture Production Commissioner Alok Sinha, Additional Chief Secretary Home Awanish Kumar Awasthi, Director General of Police Hitesh C. Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary MSME and Information Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Mrs. Renuka Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister SP Goyal, Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad and other senior officers were present at the meeting.
