CM Yadav to meet top industrialists and organizations on Day 2 of Japan Tour

On the second day of his Japan tour, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will engage in crucial talks with leading industrialists and organizations. The primary goal is to strengthen India-Japan economic ties and elevate investment, trade, and industrial cooperation in Madhya Pradesh.
Dr. Yadav’s first meeting will be with Yuji Fukasawa, Chairman of East Japan Railway Company and head of Keidanren’s South Asia Committee. The discussion will focus on technical cooperation and investment opportunities in the railway and transport sectors.
Next, Dr. Yadav will meet Susumu Kataoka, President of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), at their Tokyo headquarters. The aim is to explore trade and industrial development opportunities for Madhya Pradesh, enhancing the trade relationship with Japan.
The Chief Minister will then meet Takayuki Sanno, President of Suntory India, at the Imperial Hotel. The focus will be on discussing investment and collaboration in the food and beverage industry.
In the afternoon, Dr. Yadav will visit Bridgestone’s headquarters in Tokyo. The meeting will concentrate on expanding technical partnerships and investment in the automobile and tire industries.
He will also meet Shohei Hara, Senior Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), to explore possibilities in water management, smart city projects, and infrastructure development.
Later, Dr. Yadav will sit down with Tadashi Yanai, President and CEO of Fast Retailing Company, to discuss positioning Madhya Pradesh as a hub for the textile and retail industries.
Another key meeting will be with Toshiyuki Shirai, President of Nitori Holdings, at the Imperial Hotel. The focus here will be on exploring cooperation in the furniture industry.
In the evening, Dr. Yadav will participate in a dialogue with the NRI community and Madhya Pradesh supporters at the Imperial Hotel’s Hikari Hall. He will highlight the state’s industrial progress, investment opportunities, and favorable policies, before attending a dinner with the community.
This full day of meetings represents a significant step towards positioning Madhya Pradesh as a global investment destination. The discussions have the potential to open doors to long-term industrial partnerships with Japan, which could fuel economic growth for the state.
