Chief Secretary appreciated Bankers for supporting all Government Schemes
Telangana: Hyderabad: March 31 ( HS) Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, IAS participated in the 28th State Level Bankers Committee meeting through Video Conference from BRKR Bhavan .
The Chief Secretary appreciated Bankers for supporting all Government Schemes despite the pandemic conditions and look forward for the same kind of support in future and appreciated the Bankers for raising the unit cost of Oil Palm cultivation to Rs.1.20 lakhs per acre which will be a game changer in the economic growth of the farmer in the State. He asked the Bankers to support the scheme to complete total 8 lakh acres in the State he said.
Chief Secretary also complimented Bankers for the support under Street Vendors Scheme by making Telangana as number One state by disbursing amount to 2,74,472 beneficiaries. He requested to disburse the remaining pending applications and achieve 100% target he added.
He said that Dharani portal issues will be resolved, including issues with regard to creation of mortgage and alienation of properties on third party name.Chief Secretary asked the bankers to support Chief Minister’s Scheduled Tribe Entrepreneurship initiative Program (CMSTEI) which has a huge potential for encouraging ST’s in the State he added.
