Chandigarh Mayor Launches Canada Scholarship Helpline
Chandigarh, July 17 ( H S ): . Chandigarh Mayor Ravikant Sharma launched the free One Place Canada Scholarship Helpline @ 6280430544. This launch ceremony was held on monday at Chandigarh Press Club.
For the first time in Chandigarh and Punjab, cash scholarships for 100 meritorious students as well as free help from admission to placement and immigration consultants from Canada will be available absolutely free of cost.
This facility will be given absolutely free of cost to the students who lost their parents due to Covid.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravikant Sharma said that as India’s middle class is prospering, the attraction of Punjabis towards world class universities has increased.
According to an estimate, the number of Indians in Canada with a population of about 45 million has crossed 1.6 million. About 20 percent of Indian students are in every Canadian university. In this sequence, the help of One Place Canada to students of Punjab and Chandigarh has come to the fore. One place will be responsible for the admission of students to immigration and placement for Canada.
