CBSE announces advanced timelines for class 10, 12 exams
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that board exams for Class 10 and 12 will begin on February 15, 2025. In a notification issued late Wednesday, CBSE confirmed that Class 10 exams will end on March 18, while Class 12 exams will conclude on April 4.
Notably, CBSE released the datesheet 86 days in advance, marking the earliest announcement yet. This move ensures students and parents have ample time to prepare and plan effectively. CBSE Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj emphasized that the schedule allows adequate gaps between exams. He highlighted that no two subjects clash, accommodating around 40,000 unique subject combinations available to students.
This step reflects CBSE’s commitment to reducing student stress. The advance notice aims to help students streamline their preparation and focus better. Parents, too, have welcomed the clarity it brings.
With this balanced and carefully planned schedule, CBSE aims to provide a smooth and fair exam experience for everyone.
