CBI raids 13 locations in Jammu and Kashmir and NCR..

Jammu, 30 Dec (HS): The CBI on Monday conducted raids at 13 places in Noida and Gurugram, including several districts of Jammu and Kashmir. The raids have been carried out in the case of illegal arms licenses in Jammu and Kashmir. It is alleged that arms licenses were issued to outsiders ignoring the rules. Many officers are involved in this.

The raids are being conducted by the CBI on Monday at the locations of the then-District Collectors and District Collectors of Srinagar, Jammu, Kupwara, Baramulla, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Shopian, Rajouri, Doda, and Pulwama.

The CBI raid took place in two cases related to allegations of issuing nearly two lakh arms licenses from various districts of Jammu and Kashmir. It is also alleged that in violation of the rules, the then officers issued arms licenses to non-residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
