BSY appeals to adherence of lockdown norms for earlier revoking
Bengaluru,30 March(HS): BS Yediyurappa, Chief Minister has appealed to people of the state to adhere to the Lockdown norms in order to facilitate a conducive situation for revoking the same and failing which the government has no other options other than continuing it.
The chief minister has once again insisted the citizens abide by the stipulations enforced as part of the countrywide lockdown conditions. Stay back at home and make use of the wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with family members.
Policemen on the roads are just doing their duties only in your own interest and don’t compel them to become strict and act on you unnecessarily, he pointed out.
He also called upon the daily wage earners, migrant labourers and the less privileged sections of the society remain indoors as the state government is committed to ensuring food grains and all household materials at their doorsteps.
The chief minister’s renewed appeal came in the wake of contradictory reports on the continuance of the lockdown period even after the present deadline of 15 April.
