BSF provide aids among disabled, old age persons of bordering village Abdullian in Jammu

Jammu, March 5 (HS): A Civic Action Programme was organized by BSF at Community hall village Abdullian Jammu on Friday as a part of series of efforts made by BSF to assist and foster a close bond with the Border population. N S Jamwal, IG BSF Jammu Frontier and various members of Gram Panchayats of bordering area were present. In this programme. 49 tricycles, walkers, walking sticks, crutch Aid were distributed among disabled persons and old age villagers of the bordering area. Hearing Aids were also distributed to needy Deaf personnel. N S Jamwal, IG BSF Jammu said that as a part of comprehensive Border Management, the BSF Jammu is fully committed to assist the Border population and instill the confidence among them. He also said that BSF is heartedly committed for the people of nation especially at bordering area and these items will enhance confidence of Divayangs and old age persons. BSF will continue to organize such programme in future too.The civil public of the border area immensely appreciated and thanked for the continuous assistance rendered by BSF during the times of need and requested BSF to continue organizing such events.
