Bolivian President Evo Morales in Latin America accepts asylum in Mexico
Los Angeles Nov 12 (HS): Bolivian President Evo Morales in Latin America has accepted asylum in Mexico after being forced to resign on Sunday. Morales has tweeted that he is suffering while leaving the country, but he will soon return to the country with new energy and vigor.
Mexico’s Foreign Minister Marcello Eobard has confirmed Morales’s acceptance of asylum and leaving for Mexico. Mexico is a left-leaning government. She has been a supporter of the Morales administration. Later, Mr. Eobard told the press that Morales had been granted asylum.
Meanwhile, thousands of people are still agitating on the streets. The Commander of the Bolivian Army has asked the police to help and deal with Morales supporters. Twenty people have been injured in this incident. Prior to this, Morales had appealed to his supporters to oppose the “dark power” of all the forces that were engaged in overthrowing him. The countrymen feel that in any case, they will not allow the country to move towards dictatorship, but it will be a reflection of democracy.
