BJP Telangana Leader Subhash criticises AIMIM President for raking up border issues
Telangana Hyderabad :January 19(HS)N.V. Subhash Telangana BJP senior leader today lashed out at AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi for criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi over alleged reports of China constructing a new village under ‘Awas Yojana’ bordering Arunachal Pradesh.
N V Subhash criticised AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi for his criticism of the Prime Minister and asked him not worry about the border issues as the Centre will take necessary measures to safeguard nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. AIMIM President need not worry on these aspects , Subhash observed.
He alleged that Centre will take necessary measures to safeguard nations sovereignty and territorial integrity and that AIMIM raking up Border issues is nothing but a ploy of AIMIM to attain entity in the West Bengal polls.
Speaking to media here today Subhash said that AIMIM is keeping an eye on the elections in West Bengal and is trying to grab the attention of the people by criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Owaisi was overreacting to the media reports as they mentioned that the village in the Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh lies nearly 4.5 km from the Indian territory.
However, the Indian government would teach a befitting reply to China. On the other hand, the Minister of External Affairs stated that China has undertaken such construction activities long ago and the Indian government has also stepped up border infrastructure including the construction of roads, bridges and other activities to ensure connectivity to the local people along the border, he added.
Subhash said the AIMIM leader is repeating the old media reports by making it relevant to the present situation. He reiterated that the government was keeping a constant vigil to protect the territorial integrity of the country and advised Owaisi not to use issues with bordering countries for his political agenda.
The Telangana BJP leader said at the recent meeting of Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination of India-China Border Affairs (WMCC) has reviewed the situation and both countries have agreed to work towards a total disengagement as per the agreements reached earlier. He alleged that the AIMIM leader was raking up unnecessary issues to get political mileage in the ensuing elections in West Bengal. Linking the name of Prime Minister for the political entity in West Bengal was a ploy of Asaduddin Owaisi to get at least 5 seats in the ensuing elections like in Bihar, he remarked.
