BJP: Congress’s rule always brings economic challenges
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sharply criticized the Congress party on Saturday, accusing it of failing to fulfill promises. During a press conference at the BJP headquarters, MP Sudhanshu Trivedi stated that Congress brings economic challenges wherever it governs.
Trivedi pointed out that the economic situation has worsened in states under Congress control. He highlighted that in Himachal Pradesh, the government struggles to pay salaries. Similarly, Karnataka faces economic difficulties. “Whenever Congress comes to power, they cannot deliver on their commitments,” Trivedi remarked. He added that some politicians empty the treasury without providing effective systems for the public.
Moreover, he claimed that the Congress party often turns power into a disaster for citizens. “The words of the Congress National President show that when they hold power, it leads to calamity instead of prosperity,” he stated.
In contrast, Trivedi praised the BJP for its development initiatives under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that the government taxes luxury items and provides free food grains to those in need. “These ideas reflect Modi’s commitment to welfare, inspired by the ideals of Lord Ram,” he said.
Trivedi emphasized that India is progressing rapidly on the path of development under Modi’s leadership. He quoted Modi’s statement, “Neither will I eat nor will I let others eat,” suggesting that this has provoked discontent within Congress since Modi’s rise to power has limited their opportunities.
He further referenced Rajiv Gandhi’s assertion that only 15 paise of every rupee sent reaches the people, suggesting this illustrates Congress’s inefficacy. “The desperation of Congress is now evident,” Trivedi concluded, as the BJP continues to position itself as a champion of economic stability and development against the backdrop of Congress’s historical governance.
