Patna, June 28, (HS) With the onset of monsoon in Bihar, the water levels are rising each day. Weather department has issued an alert that there will be heavy rainfall in the state till June 30. In the next 72 hours the expected rainfall is over 100 ml. An alert has been issued in places like Champaran, Gopalganj, Sivan, Auraiya, Kishanganj and some other districts. The district officials of disaster management department have also been notified. Security has been tightened on all the river dams as well. NDRF teams have posted at 12 villages near Nepal border along with arrangements for small and big boats. The control rooms of the disaster management department in all districts are continuously monitoring the districts and cities.
