Bayern Munich expressed happiness over the government’s decision to restart the Bundesliga

Munich,07 May(HS): Bayern Munich President Karl-Heinz Rummenigge expressed happiness over the government’s decision to reintroduce the Bundesliga, saying that the decision now ensures that sports decision are made on the pitch and not in the board room.

The club’s official website quoted Rummenigge as saying, “I want to thank the politicians for today’s decision, which will now end the current season of the Bundesliga. We now expect the league to resume from mid-May “The government’s decision ensures that sports decisions are made on the pitch and not in the boardroom.”

Rummenigge appealed to everyone involved to follow the government guidelines for the corona virus epidemic.

He said, “I would like to expressly thank the DFL and the Medicine Task Force for excellent organizational and medical plans. I appeal to all to follow the guidelines in these schemes, which, in an exemplary and disciplined manner and the basis for restarting the game.”
