PRAYAGRAJ, September 13 (HS): Congressmen paid tribute to freedom fighter and influential parliamentarian Feroze Gandhi on the occasion of his 109th birthday. At 10 a.m., the party members paid floral tributes at his Samadhi in Parsi Cemetery. Later, the workers staged a symbolic dharna to protest the tomb’s poor condition. Kishore Varshney, a member of the State Working Committee, expressed regret for the site’s predicament and criticised the state administration. Firoz, a well-known national leader and journalist, was said to have played a significant part in nation-building. In a democracy, there will be very few people who are MPs and whose father-in-law is the country’s Prime Minister.

On the 109th birth anniversary of freedom fighter and influential parliamentarian Feroze Gandhi, Congressmen remembered him by paying homage. The partymen paid homage by paying floral tributes at his Samadhi at Parsi Cemetery at 10 am. Later, the workers sat on a symbolic dharna over the condition of the tomb. State Working Committee member Kishore Varshney expressed grief over the plight of the site and blamed the state government.
