Ayodhya Verdict :Union chief appeals to maintain peace

New Delhi, Nov 09 (HS): Supreme Court will give verdict today in Ayodhya Ram temple Babri Masjid dispute case. The bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice AS Bobde, Justice Dhananjay Yashwant Chandrachud, Justice Ashok Bhushan, Justice Abdul Nazir has started pronounce the verdict. 

The Supreme Court has rejected the Nirmohi Akhara claim. At the same time, the court admitted that in its decision based on the ASI report, that there is no concrete information about breaking the temple and building a mosque.

After the decision, Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will spend time with the media in Delhi. The RSS chief will speak through media at the Keshav Kunj campus in Delhi at 1 pm. He appealed to the people to maintain peace and communal harmony.

In view of the decision on the Ram temple, strict security arrangements have been made throughout the country. Section 144 has been implemented in the whole of Uttar Pradesh. High-tech security arrangements have been made in Ayodhya. Ashutosh Pandey, ADG of Uttar Pradesh Police, who is handling security arrangements in Ayodhya said that 60 companies of the paramilitary force, RPF and PAC and 1200 police constables, 250 sub-inspectors, 20 deputy superintendents and 2 SPs have been deployed. Double layer barricading, public address system has been installed. Also, surveillance is being done through 35 CTTV and 10 drone cameras. There is no restriction on people’s Ramlala visions. All markets are open and the situation is completely normal.
