Assamese version of UP Gov Ram Naik’s autobiography released

Guwahati, July 07 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik’s  autobiography ‘Charaiveti Charaiveti’ has been unveiled in Assamese. The book’s title means ‘keep marching ahead’ is originally in Marathi. It has been translated into several languages including  English, Hindi, Urdu, Persian, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Gujarati, Arabic and German.
Almost all the governors of Northeastern states attended the launch of the Assamese edition of ‘Charaiveti Charaiveti’ at Shrimanta Shankardeva Kalakshetra, Guwahati.
The Assamese version of the autobiography was released by Governor of Assam Prof Jagdish Mukhi in the presence of the author Ram Naik, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) said that the autobiography reflects the exemplary, extra ordinary, dedicated and visionary life of Ram Naik.
“It also shows his commitment towards uplift of needy people, social development, patriotism and national pride,” he said.
With Assamese edition of the autobiography, the Governor said that the people of the Northeastern region will know more about Ram Naik and will be inspired by his personality.
Speaking on the occasion Governor of Assam Prof Jagdish Mukhi hailed the role of Ram Naik in planting the seeds of value based politics in the state.
He also stated that the veteran leader’s role in promoting the interests and cause of marginalised sections of the society is unparallel.
He also congratulated Ram Naik on translating the autobiography Charaiveti Charaiveti in Assamese and hoped that the endeavour would strengthen the bond friendship and camaraderie between the people of Assam and Maharashtra.
Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said, “Charaiveti Charaiveti that depicts Ram Naik’s life and philosophy will galvanize the spirit of nationalism and strengthen relations amongst people living in different parts of the country by giving a chance to fulfil Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.
