Assam singer Angaraag Papon Mahanta requests people to maintain COVID-19 protocol

Amid COVID-19 scare, Assam’s popular singer Angaraag Papan Mahanta appeals people to maintain COVID-19 protocol given by the Assam Government.

He also requested the people to wear mask in public place. He said during a function organised by ‘Pathsala Rangali Bihu xanmiloni’ held at Pathsala HS field in Bajali district.

Papan said, “After a long  time I came to Assam. During this COVID-19 situation Assam is safe in comparison to other states. “. “To save Assam we have to wear mask. Protect yourself and your family. So I request people to maintain COVID protocol”. He added.

It may be mentioned that,  many Bihu functions of Assam have been cancelled due to the deteriorating COVID19 situation in Guwahati.
