Army Chief Bipin Rawat retires today, shall pay tribute to the martyrs
New Delhi , Dec 31 (HS): Bipin Rawat has retires from the post of Army Chief today after completing his three-year term, he will be paying tributes to the martyrs at the War Memorial on the last day of his tenure.
Apart from this, the Guard of Honor will be given on South Block. Bipin Rawat greeted all the soldiers before taking over as Chief of Defense Staff.
Bipin Rawat hopes that Manoj Mukund will take the country’s army further. He wished all the soldiers happy New Year.
He said that the Chief of Army Staff is just a post, one who is supported by all the soldiers of the army, with whose cooperation the country’s army moves forward.
General Manoj Mukund Narwane will be the next Army Chief . General Bipin Rawat has been declared the first Chief of Defense Staff of the country.
