Sources said Drone photography, Normal photography, and Mobile based Photography is creating a lot of inconveniences among the tourists. Hence ASI decided to implement strict regulations on Photography.

P Kalimuthu, Deputy Superintendent of ASI at Hampi, said the monuments are spread all over the wide-area covering 25 sq km and every visitor was difficult to track. Few are unhappy about the decision to sketch with special permission required.
