New Delhi, June 14 (HS): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah today in New Delhi.
Jagan is on a two-day visit to Delhi to attend YSR Congress Party’s (YSRCP) parliamentary party meeting on Saturday and also direct the MPs on the points to be raised in the parliamentary meeting.
He will then attend the NITI Aayog meeting in which chief ministers from all states would also be present.
Reddy assumed charge at the Chief minister’s office at the state Secretariat after his resounding victory in state elections on 08 June.
In the recent Assembly elections, Reddy’s YSRCP won an absolute majority in Andhra Pradesh securing 151 seats out of 175.
It is to be noted that, Jagan Mohan Reddy was sworn-in as the new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh after its bifurcation taking over as CM after defeating the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu in the just-concluded Lok Sabha polls.
