Amarinder Singh demands withdrawl of CAA
Chandigarh, 16 December(HS): Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh in a tweet today demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to repeal the Citizenship Amendment Act.
He also appealed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to take all possible steps to bring the situation under control after the protests in Delhi.
He wrote on Twitter that, Disturbed by reports from Delhi in wake of anti #CABProtests at #JamiaMilia. Urge @AmitShah & @ArvindKejriwal to do all it takes to bring the situation under control & prevent it from escalating further. Appeal to @narendramodi govt to repeal the controversial Act immediately.
