Allu Arjun praises Ranbir’s ‘Animal’, hints at joining the franchise?
Allu Arjun praised Ranbir Kapoor’s hit film Animal in an interview with Hollywood Reporter India. He also addressed whether he would have liked to star in it. Arjun, known for his versatile taste, said he enjoys all genres, including sci-fi, romantic drama, and comedy.
When asked if any recent film made him wish he had been part of it, Arjun responded, “No. But there are films I really liked. Performances… I loved Animal. Phenomenal performance. That’s one movie I really liked. Some great Telugu films have also come out.”
Arjun described his broad taste in movies. “I watch everything—big or small, niche or mainstream. If it’s well-made, I’ll watch it. I usually avoid horror or dark murder mysteries, but if they’re well-made, I’ll give them a chance.”
About Animal
Released in 2023, Animal is an action drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri. The film received mixed reviews. Critics accused it of glorifying toxic masculinity and misogyny. However, it performed exceptionally well at the box office.
