Alld HCBA to provide Rs 5 lakh each for families of lawyers who died due to Corona

PRAYAGRAJ, April 19 (HS): The Allahabad High Court Bar Association (HCBA) has taken a major step by deciding to provide financial assistance (to the tune of Rs. 5 lakh) to the families/nominees of those Advocates who have died as a result of the novel Coronavirus. It should be noted that the Bar Association will offer Rs 5 lakh in financial assistance to the dependents or nominees of all Advocates who died after April 1, 2021. The executive body of the Association passed a resolution to that effect.

According to the resolution, 5 lakh rupees will be granted to the families/nominees of advocates who died after April 1, 2021. (due to novel Coronavirus). Aside from that, the executive body has agreed to provide urgent medical services to COVID-19-affected Advocates who are already hospitalised and receiving treatment. According to the Association’s resolution, advocates who are seeking medical care can submit their information to the bar association’s mobile number 9450613890 or 7785804544 so that they may receive financial assistance (through RTGS medium).

Such lawyers must provide their full name, registration number, bank account number, IFSC code, and bar association’s computer number in their letter, which they must then send to one of the two numbers provided by the Association.
