Allahabad University to conduct UG, PG exam from April 30

PRAYAGRAJ, April 14 (HS): From April 30 onwards, the University of Allahabad will hold all postponed examinations. At the end of the month, the undergraduate (second and main exams), postgraduate, law, and professional course examinations will begin. The new time table for all candidates who are appearing will be available on Allahabad University’s official website, allduniv.ac.in. The order of subjects in the new time table will be the same as in the old time table, according to the varsity.

The test will be performed online, and the answer sheets will also be accepted in online mode only. The varsity has advised the students to download a a scanner, practice scanning 12 pages together, making a single pdf, naming it as suggested earlier and then upload on online portal. The university had previously released recommendations for applicants who would be taking the test.

The exam will last three hours. Candidates will be given an extra 30 minutes to send their answer sheets online. The students will have to keep their answer s of 12 pages ready for each paper with information including class, subject. Paper and paper code with a 12 inch margin and page numbers such as 1/12, 2/12, and so on, with one inch space from the top, sides, and bottom.

Because of the rising number of active COVID-19 cases in the state, the University of Allahabad suspended offline classes and postponed online exams for the university and its affiliated colleges on April 9. “Until April 21, 2021, the university and its constituent colleges will be fully sealed. “After this time, the situation will be checked, and further decisions will be made as necessary,” according to an earlier statement from the University of Allahabad.
