Alerts issued for heavy rains and storm in Bihar
Patna, June 10 (HS): The soaring mercury continues its fury at most places in Bihar. But on Wednesday the Meteorological Department issued an alert of rain and storm in 38 districts of the state, including Patna.
According to the weather department, Bihar and neighbouring states may receive rain for four days from Wednesday onwards. There is a possibility of strong winds with thunderstorms too.
According to weather experts, low air pressure was building up in the Bay of Bengal which could result in heavy rains in Bihar in the next four days. They said the maximum impact of cyclonic winds will be on 20 districts of northeast Bihar including Purnia, Saharsa, Madhepura, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj.
