Ajay Devgn twins with Kajol in black at ‘Do Patti’ premiere, showcases supportive husband role
A week before Ajay Devgn roars onto the box office with Singham Again, his wife, Kajol, steps into the spotlight as a cop for the first time in Do Patti. On Thursday evening, Ajay accompanied Kajol to the film’s premiere in Mumbai, showing his support.
Paparazzi shared a video on Instagram capturing the couple arriving at the event. They twinned in black attire: Ajay wore a fitted black T-shirt tucked into black jeans, complemented by brown sunglasses and shoes. Kajol exuded charm in a polka dot top and adorned herself with green floral earrings.
Later, Kajol was seen leaving the venue alone in another video. She was with Kanika Dhillon, the screenwriter and co-producer of Do Patti. As they headed to the exit, photographers shouted for them to stop and pose together. Kajol humorously replied, “Aap log jitna chillayenge, hum utna nahi dekhenge” (The more you shout, the more we’ll look away). Eventually, she and Kanika obliged the photographers before Kajol took her leave.
Kriti Sanon, the lead actor and producer of Do Patti, also graced the occasion with her parents. She opted for a black outfit, featuring a stylish top, matching skirt, and pencil heels. As her parents posed for the cameras, Kriti dashed onto the red carpet to join them for a lovely family portrait. However, her sister and fellow actor, Nupur Sanon, was notably absent from the premiere.
In a show of resilience, Hina Khan attended the premiere while undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. She came to support her friend, Shaheer Sheikh, who plays the male lead in the film. Hina looked chic in a white top, grey pants, and white shoes as she walked the red carpet. Additionally, Veer Pahariya was spotted wearing a blue denim jacket over an all-white outfit.
Do Patti is co-produced by Kanika’s Kathha Films and Kriti’s Blue Butterfly Films. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the film will premiere on Netflix India this Friday, October 25. The event marked a significant night for both Kajol and Kriti as they celebrate their exciting new projects.
