Telangana: Hyderabad: June 24( HS) AICC spokesperson Dr Dasoju Sravan expressed serious concern over Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s reckless, irresponsible COVID-inappropriate behaviour stressing that CM’s careless actions will put the lives of Telangana people at risk. Warning Telangana people of a potential third wave if precautions are not taken, Dr Dasoju Sravan urged CM KCR to set an example by following COVID-19 precautions and protect people, instead of putting crores of lives in danger, by getting back to the old madcap ways.

“We have seen CM KCR touring around the state over the past few days, flouting all COVID-19 precautions. It is extremely disheartening to see the CM, who needs to create awareness about COVID-appropriate behaviour, himself setting a dangerous example by disregarding Coronavirus precautions,  said Dr Dasoju Sravan addressing the media in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
“It is extremely unfortunate that the Telangana Government, which needs to create a cautious behaviour among people, is encouraging reckless attitudes. While experts including AIIMS chief, are warning about a potential third wave, if proper COVID-19 precautions are not followed, CM KCR is terming them as rubbish and media creation. We are getting reports that already more than 1400 children have got COVID-19 over the past 21 days in Khammam district signifying a third wave, but the Government is showing no concern Dr Dasoju Sravan added.
Dr Dasoju Sravan also came down heavily on TRS Government for bringing a GO putting a cap on hospital treatments price just a day ago, while corporate hospitals have fleeced lakhs of people, with exorbitant bills over the past two months. Dr Sravan exposed that the Government has brought in this GO in a hasty manner only to save its skin as hearing on the issue is going on in High Court. Dr Dasoju Sravan reveals Government’s ulterior motive in opening schools, at a time when experts are warning about a potential threat to children during the third wave. He fired the CM KCR-led administration for colluding with private schools managements and putting lakhs of children’s lives at risk, for kickbacks.
“Telangana Government has faltered in every possible way in COVID-19 management. It has put the lives of people from all sections at risk with its thoughtless and insensitive ways. How will the Government justify opening schools at a time when experts are warning about a potential third wave affecting children? This is nothing but playing with the lives of lakhs of children. Government has colluded with private schools’ management and decided to open schools. Government has come up with such reckless move only to facilitate private school managements collect fees from parents,” alleged Dr Dasoju Sravan, expressing anguish that TRS bosses are more concerned about the interests of private school managements than lakhs of children.
