The AFC Asian Cup 2027 will kick off on January 7 and conclude on February 5. Saudi Arabia, the host nation, announced five stadiums for the tournament: King Fahd Sports City Stadium, King Saud University Stadium, Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud University Stadium, Kingdom Arena, and Al Shabab Stadium.

Saudi Arabia secured hosting rights in 2023 after India withdrew its bid. The previous edition took place in Qatar. Yasser Al Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, called the confirmation of dates and venues a strategic milestone in hosting the prestigious tournament.

Eighteen nations have already qualified for the Asian Cup. The third round of qualifiers, set to begin in March, will decide the remaining teams. India is in Group C, competing against Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangladesh for a spot in the tournament.
