High profile sex racket busted, film actress and model arrested
New Delhi, Jan 10 (HS): In a major incident, Mumbai Police has busted a high-profile sex racket at a five-star hotel in Goregaon East and rescued two girls from there late on Thursday night.The Mumbai police have arrested an actress Amrita Dhanoa (32) and model Richa Singh in this matter for supplying these girls for prostitution.
A team led by zonal Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) D Swamy, conducted the raid after receiving a tip-off about a sex racket operating at a plush hotel. Police officers posed as customers and contacted the accused and arrested them. “We have arrested two persons during the raid and rescued two girls who were being forced into prostitution,” the DCP said.A case under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act has been registered against the accused women.
