A three storey building collapsed in Sabzimandi area in North district

New Delhi, 13 September (H.S): A three-storey building has collapsed in Sabzimandi area in the northern district of the capital Delhi. Local police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported and started rescue work. At present, two people have been taken out of the debris and admitted to the nearest hospital.

Fire Department Director Atul Garg said that at around 11.50 am on Monday, information was received that a three-storey house located in Sabzi Mandi area had collapsed. As soon as the information was received, five fire tenders were sent to the spot.

At present, the work of removing the debris is going on. It is feared that many people may be trapped under the debris. A car was also damaged in the incident. According to a senior police officer, two families were living in the house and there was a milk shop on the first floor.
