2.59 new corona cases registered in the country in last 24 hours, 3.57 people recovered

New Delhi, 21 May (HS):  There has been a slight decrease in new cases of corona in the country as compared to the previous day. In the last 24 hours, 2,59,591 new cases of corona have been reported and as many as 3,57,295 patients have recovered and 4,209 people have died due to this disease in the last 24 hours.

The number of people recovering from Corona is steadily increasing, which is a matter of relief. Recovery rates are improving. The recovery rate of the country has increased to 87.24 percent in the last 24 hours.
According to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 2,60,31,991 cases of corona have been reported so far in the country. So far 2,91,331 people have died due to this disease. The number of active patients in the country is 30,27,925. At the same time, so far 2,27,12,735 patients have been recovered from Corona.

According to ICMR, more than 20 lakh tests have been done in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 32,44,17,870 tests have been done in the country.
