124 new cases of corona in Assam during last 24 hours

Guwahati, 02 June (HS): Total 124 new corona cases were reported in the last 24 hours in Assam. Notably, 100 to 150 cases have been reported in the state every day for the past one week putting the health system under tremendous pressure. However, the state government is constantly taking steps to improve health services.

By 11.55 pm on Monday, the total number of corona infections in Assam rose to 124 bringing the total number to 1485. On the other side, the number of recoveries too has been rapidly increasing . On Monday, 92 patients were reported to have recovered . Total 1194 patients are being treated in various hospitals of the state.

While 4 patients have died, 3 patients have returned from Assam to other states.
