Manipur – RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat made a strong claim during his visit to Manipur on Friday. He said Hindu society keeps the world stable and asserted that “the world will not exist without Hindus.” He connected the idea to India’s long civilisational journey and its cultural strength.

Bhagwat addressed a gathering in Imphal. He said many ancient civilisations collapsed over time. He named Greece, Egypt and Rome as examples. He then argued that India survived every crisis because its civilisation carried deep cultural roots. He described Bharat as an “immortal civilisation” that continues to guide humanity.

He also said Hindu society created a strong internal network. According to him, this network protects dharma and keeps Indian culture alive across generations. He added that Hindu society would always exist because it draws power from shared values and unity. He linked global stability with the continuity of Hindu civilisation.

Bhagwat reached Manipur for the first time after the state faced ethnic violence. He urged communities to work together to restore peace. He said the people of Manipur must rebuild trust and protect their shared heritage. He framed Hindu society not as a religious identity but as a cultural force that includes everyone. He repeated his earlier remark that Indians, regardless of faith, come from the same ancestors.

He then shifted to the economic front. Bhagwat said India must build a strong and self-reliant economy. He argued that national strength begins with economic capability. He stressed that India should not depend on any external power for its progress. He said self-reliance brings stability, confidence and long-term growth.

Bhagwat explained that economic power alone cannot build a strong nation. He said national development needs equal focus on military capability and knowledge strength. He added that security and learning work together to create a confident India. He urged citizens to support initiatives that promote indigenous innovation, research and defence readiness.

His comments came at a time when global trade tensions have increased. Recently, the United States under Donald Trump imposed steep tariffs on Indian goods. The move triggered concern within India’s trade sector. Bhagwat’s remarks supported the government’s renewed push for swadeshi and local production.

He said India must stand firm in global markets with its own strength. He said the nation must trust its enterprises, workers and scientific talent. He encouraged youth to build skills that add to India’s economic and strategic independence.

Bhagwat also spoke about social unity. He said India grows when communities move forward together. He urged people to reject division and strengthen dialogue. He said unity brings progress, while conflict slows down development.

His speech highlighted cultural confidence, economic self-reliance and national strength as the key pillars for India’s future. He said the country must take steady steps toward these goals with clarity and discipline. As he concluded, he called on society to protect its values and work toward a stable and self-reliant India.
