Poonch, 24 March, (HS) : With no let up in cease fire violation in Poonch District Pakistani army after a lull of few days today violates cease fire in Mendhar sector of Poonch District
Army source said Pakistani army violates cease fire in Poonch District this time in Mendhar sector . They said Late last Night Pakistani Army Firstly opened fire with small weapons Later used mortar shells on Indian army’s posts and civilian areas in Mendhar sector. The soldiers manning the fence responded strongly with equal Qaliber and the exchange of fire continued till 5.30 Am
Def Pro Devinder Anand said today at about 10.15 pm Pak initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by small arms firing & shelling with Mortars along LoC in Mendhar sectors, District Poonch (J&K). Indian Army is retaliating befittingly.
