Chandigarh, March 3 ( H S ) :The case of gangster Mukhtar Ansari resounded in the Punjab Legislative Assembly, today. In zero hour, Akali Dal MLA and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia said that the Punjab government was keeping Ansari in jail as a special guest.

He said that it was surprising that in the case in which Punjab has arrested Ansari, neither Ansari is trying to get bail nor the Punjab Police is presenting a challan against him in court. While in three months, if the police do not submit the challan in court, the accused gets bail. But here in Punjab, the Congress government is having a ‘love affair’ with Ansari.

Majithia said that 10 cases have been registered against gangster Ansari including murder, robbery, ransom cases. And the government is not giving their salaries, allowances, TA, DA.

In the Corona period, private schools collected fees in full despite the closure of schools. Punjab University is going to give crores of rupees. Referring to the case of suicide by a gardener of the state, Majithia said that people up to the gardener are committing suicide due to non-receipt of salary. But the Punjab government is spending on Ansari to the fullest.

Referring to the expensive lawyer in Ansari’s case, Majithia said that the Punjab government is openly fighting the case in Ansari’s favor in the court. He said that a complaint was lodged with a real estate society in Mohali regarding Ansari’s incomplete name that an Ansari had called him from Uttar Pradesh and threatened him.

Based on this complaint, Punjab Police Ansari was brought to Punjab and he is being kept as a special guest. . Referring to the jail system, the leader said that gangsters openly meet in the jails of Punjab. He said that the law and order situation in Punjab is bad and the Punjab government is spending crores of rupees on Ansari so that Ansari can be used in Punjab politics and attacks on opponents can be carried out.
