The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued rain alerts for 18 states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, and West Bengal. The warning, which began Tuesday, will last until March 15. Two cyclonic circulations are driving this weather shift.
One cyclone, moving from Iraq, is heading toward northern India. It may bring rain and offer relief from rising temperatures in Delhi-NCR and nearby regions. The second cyclone, approaching from Bangladesh, could trigger heavy rainfall in eastern and northeastern states over the next five days.

The eastern and northeastern states will also receive heavy rain. IMD forecasts downpours in Bihar and West Bengal. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Tripura will see heavy rain from March 11-15. Arunachal Pradesh may also get snowfall between March 11 and 13.
