FIR lodged against Exe. Engineer and others

Chpra/ Gopalganj, May.30 (HS): Taking strong exception to irregularities in construction of Panchayat Bhavan, Gopalganj DM Animesh Kumar Parashar has ordered to lodge FIR against the executive engineer, junior engineer and construction company.

Panchayati Raj officer Nitesh Kumar has lodged the FIR after the instruction from the DM.

Misappropriation of fund and irregularities were found in construction of Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan at Kuchaikot and Rampur Khareya panchayats. Process of preparing ‘Prapatra K’ against panchayat Sachiv of both the panchayats has alos been initiated. It is reported that on 28 March, DDC Subhas Chanbdra Sharma had inspected the newly constructed buildings of Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan and found many irregularities and complains of the villagers.

These buildings were not being used and standard of work was very poor. RTPS counters were also not running. On his report the DM ordered to lodge FIR and Executive engineer Sunil Kumar Pandey, who has retired, Junior engineer Laleshwar Sah, assistand engineer Nand Lal Singh along with Raj construction company have been made accused in this case.
